Haley Woodward will conduct a power hammer workshop and The Center for the Metal Arts.
The Center For Metal Arts in Florida, NY teaches classes and seminars on hand forging, tool making, and blacksmithing. These are hands on workshop programs that furnish students with both skills and experience that enable them to do metal fabrication safely and efficiently. Students are both beginners and experienced metal workers who want to continue to develop their skills by studying with the Center’s resident teachers and with the many guest instructors that they bring in from all over the world. For example, The Center For Metal Arts will be hosting Haley Woodward from Austin Texas for a special power hammer forging workshop, from March 11th-13th. A power hammer is just what it sounds like, or perhaps it should be more precisely called a power hammer AND anvil. Regardless, the object of the seminar will be to develop metal forming skills and strategies to work more efficiently and with less risk of injuries. Proper training is the key to safety and to productivity as well.
