Faux marble tiles, floor to ceiling.
Not just an authentic, reproduction c.1835 period floor covering, this custom painted floorcloth is also a versatile, sensible design solution. The install is lightweight and “floats”, so it doesn’t compromise the original floor and just rolls up when its useful life is over. The interior designer specified a faux marble motif for this downstairs hallway, note the walls and table top. The black and white “marble tile” pattern was created by Campbell Floorcloths of West Bloomfield, New York to match these exact requirements. Just like real tile, no two tiles are alike. The final finish is several coats of polyurethane.
