Historic cast iron staircase spans.

In order to instantly create period historic credibility for a new townhouse development in Columbus, Ohio, Steptoe and Wife, of Toronto furnished nine period, cast iron staircase units featuring an historic design tread. All units were prefabricated in their shop, disassembled, packed up and shipped to the contractor for a fast and issue free install. Surfaces were zinc primed and powder coat finished to provide for a long service. These beautiful, period cast iron pattern “re-treads” set the tone for both historic restoration and for new, custom reproduction work.
