Scary things, way up high.

Some days are scary, and it’s not even Halloween yet. Maybe it’s your co-workers. The better you get to know them, the scarier they are. Maybe it is the fact that you are 500 feet in the air, up against a great big wall of nothing, on a concrete smokestack, and they can’t shut it down, because, well, because they can’t. On the plus side, everything is funny, because you are doing impossible things all day – – and nobody sees.

Dunbar Steeplejacks of Caledonia, Ontario are riggers and steeplejacks, expert even in the master chimney techniques. They are an important national resource, offering specialized methods for accessing the historic towers and steeples that define our built skyline. They are not just access specialists, but experienced and qualified in the restoration of masonry, sheet metal and other historic building materials. Without Dunbar’s hard won skillset, maintenance of these important structures would be much less cost feasible, and they would be lost.
